BTEB | Diploma Engineering Admission System 2024-2025
Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) is a curriculum body, which provides technical education materials, grants to technical and professional institutions, regulates admissions, conducts examinations and recognizes diploma certificates. A student can get admission on the basis of his/her own merit after passing the SSC and equivalent examination. After admission, the student has to spend 04 years to complete the program. On the other hand, a student can get admission in a polytechnic on the basis of merit even after completing HSC or equivalent examination. In that case, the student has to study for a total of two years to complete the course.
Not only this, after passing HSC and completing 02 year course of polytechnic a student can also pursue B.Sc or equivalent course for higher degree. Those who pass SSC and get admission in Diploma (04) year diploma and complete their studies can also get admission in B.Sc or equivalent course. The duration of the course is only 04 years. Automobile, Architecture, Aircraft Maintenance (Aerospace), Aircraft Maintenance (Avionics), Architecture & Interior Design, Ceramics, Chemical, Civil, Civil (Wood), Computer, Computer Science & Technology, Construction, Data Telecommunication & Networking, Electrical, Electro Medical , Electronics, Environmental, Food, Footwear, Glass, Graphics Design, Instruments and Process Control, Leather, Leather Products and Accessories, Marine, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Mining and Mine Survey, Power, Printing, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Shipbuilding, Surveying , telecommunications.

Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality (1st and 2nd shift)
Admission Eligibility: The student must have successfully completed or passed the SSC/Dakhil/Vocational/Equivalent Examination under all Education Boards and Open Universities of Bangladesh. A minimum GPA of 3.5 with a minimum of 3.00 GPA in General or Higher Mathematics for boys and a minimum GPA of 3.00 with a minimum of 3.00 GPA for girls must be pass.
If a student passes ‘O’ level, they will have C grade in one subject and D grade in any other 02 (two) subjects with Mathematics. Then students of any age can apply for the academic year 2024-2025. Also students of any age who have successfully completed SSC or equivalent examination in Second Division before introduction of GPA system can also apply.
Diploma in Agriculture and Forestry
Minimum GPA 2.5 must be pass in SSC or equivalent examination under all Board of Education and (BOU) Open University in Bangladesh. For ‘O’ level the student should have minimum C grade in one subject and D grade in any two subjects including Mathematics. Those who have passed SSC or equivalent examination before grading system and have 2nd division result can also apply at any age.
Diploma in Livestock & Fisheries
Students who have completed SSC/equivalent examination from General Education Board or Open University (BOU) with minimum GPA 2.5 or ‘O’ level will get minimum C grade in one subject and D grade in any two subjects including Mathematics. Also those who passed 2nd division in SSC/equivalent examination before grading system can apply for these courses where there is no age requirement.
Preference will also be given to students who have successfully completed scientific section with GP 3.00 in Biology. However, the merit list will be prepare according to the total GPA. GPs in Biology who have obtained equivalent GPA will be consider for admission on merit basis.
HSC-VOC (Vocational) Govt Institution | 02 Years Duration
Technology: Automobile, agricultural machinery, building construction and maintenance, drafting and civil, electrical work and maintenance, electronic control and communication, breeding and fish farming, machine tool operation and maintenance, poultry and farming, refrigeration and airfreezer design and maintenance.
Eligibility: Candidates who have successfully passed SSC Vocational or Dakhil Vocational (Batch wise) can apply.
Admission Fee for Polytechnic Diploma Engineering Admission Circular 2024-25
Polytechnic Diploma Engineering Admission Circular 2024-25 means that in case of BTEB admission online admission, candidate can apply for 15 Technology/Trade/Specialization in one or more institutions after paying Rs.150. That means candidates were allow to submit only one application per shift. That is, for additional selection, candidates can select only one institution and subject.
